Ok first off, SparkEdit only works for full version, so to all u trial users, tough luck. so in this tutorial we'll do
a few things, change teleport locations, add a double link teleport(ie blue base<->red base and vice versa), change
weapon spawn location and add some spawning points for vehicles and yourself.
Load Blood Gulch since its a basic and popular map, so lets change the teleport location of the blue base, first
of all, some ppl seem to think that just moving that little thing with the green glow comming out will work, it wont, its
just scenery to make the game look good. So to change the Blue base telepot location go to the EDIT tab, select SCENERY, now
click SELECT MODE(the little yelow arrow on the toolbar) click the thing i just told u about that u appear out of from the
blue base teleport, in this case its the one nearest the fuelrod gun, move it to where u want to teleport by clicking TRANSLATE
MODE while the thing is still selected, and clicking and holding it to drag it. Next click the EDIT tab again, select MP FLAGS,
now go to where the thingy origonally was, you'll see a little box where it was, use SELECT MODE to select it, then use TRANSLATE
MODE to move it under the thingy again, there, now u can teleport there from blue base, that little box thing is the reason
u teleport, you'll see more of those things in the level but they have different uses, a circle is the HILL for King of the
Hill.
Now to add a double link teleport, we wont attach the red and blue base because blue base has been altered, lets
use the little cave on the side of the big cliff(not sniper perch), nearest blue base, now, go near that area, and then go
to tools and click add teleporter pair, two boxes will appear, a little luck is involved here, cause there is no way to tell
which one is the transporter, and which is the reciever, so move one into the cave, and one to where u want to teleport, unfortuanatly,
SparkEdit cant move the telepoter shields (the green things on the bases) so u cant see the teleport area, but u can move
the teleport pad, select a pad and click DUPLICATE SELECTION, under tools, now move the duplicate over ur reciever, then create
another teleport pair, again luck is involved here, put one that might be the teleporter over the reciever, and put the new
reciever over the other teleporter, u can now travel back and forth between those two teleports.
Now for Weapons. this is simple, select MP equipment under the edit tab, be aware that u dont choose Weapons, now
select the weapon u want to be moved and move it, or if u want to keep it there but add it some where else on the map, duplicate
it then move the duplicate. For vehicles its the exact same only select Vehicles under edit and move the one u want to.
And lastly, spawning points, this can be a little annoying, select MP flags, then look for areas that u spawn in,
thats the annoying part because the spawning points are boxes just like all the others(ie teleporter, hill), so find the area
u want to spawn in and move the origonal spawn point, or dupicate it to add another.
